We’re different. We look at your health from a holistic perspective, not just traditional chiropractic. Our practitioners are trained and accredited in selected multidisciplines to help provide the safest, gentlest and most effective approach to your health. We can also use these various techniques to provide a service that is unique and comfortable for you. The techniques we use are outlined below.
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a unique health care system because it recognises that correct physical, biochemical and emotional health are fundamental to optimal health.
Your nervous system controls all your cells, tissues and organs. On that basis, Applied Kinesiology Chiropractors use muscle testing to assess your nervous system function and find a solution to your health concerns.
In Australia, Applied Kinesiology is trademarked so the Australian public can identify accredited practitioners who are holistic primary health care professionals highly skilled in the assessment and application of structural correction, nutrition, cranio-sacral therapy, meridian therapy, visceral (organ) therapy, Retained Neonatal Reflexes®, immune system function and many other health aspects.
Neural Organization Technique (Not)
Neural Organization Technique is a specialised branch of Kinesiology which works through the central nervous system to restore structural, bio-chemical and emotional balance. This discipline works with neurological priority systems. It uses acupressure, reactive muscle monitoring and co-ordinated respiration to address areas of concern.
Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC)™
Sacro Occipital Technic (SOT)
Sacro Occipital Tecnic was originally developed in 1925 by Dr M.B DeJarnette. It is so named because of the relationship between the Sacrum (base of the spine) and the Occiput (base of the skull). SOT is a gentle technique that aims to correct the pelvis, spine, skull, extremities and organs. This is a technique that looks at the entire body’s mechanics and neurology in an organized and practical way.
An SOT practitioner will use various body indicators, which indicate areas to treat, and the effectiveness of the treatment. It looks at the alignment of the pelvis, which is the foundational support of the human skeleton, and the spine which holds the body upright, and protects and supports your nervous system and organs.
The gentle adjustments done by an SOT practitioner aim to remove interference to the nervous system and allow movement of cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) to the brain and spinal cord.
SOT is a fantastic technique when working with children, pregnant women and those who prefer the low force type of chiropractic.

AN EXPLANATION OF NET
NET is a mind-body technique that uses a methodology of finding and removing neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress. NET is a tool that can help improve many behavioural and physical conditions.
WHAT MAY NET HELP WITH?
NET Practitioners are nearly unlimited in their ability to address the physical and behavioural stress-related conditions of their patients. These conditions include headaches, body pains, phobias, general anxiety, self-sabotaging behaviours, organ dysfunctions and so much more. It’s important to note that NET does not cure or heal the patient, but rather, NET removes blocks to the natural vitalism of the body, “allowing” the body to repair itself naturally.
HOW DOES NET WORK?
NET is based on the physiological foundations of stress-related responses. As discovered in the late 1970s, emotional responses are composed of neuropeptides (amino acid chains) and their receptors, which lie on neurons and other cells of remote tissues in the body. The neuropeptides are ejected from the neuron and carry the encoded “information” to other sites within the body. These neuropeptides are in a category of neurochemicals known as Information Substances (IS). IS’s are released at times of stress-related arousal and become attached to remotely-positioned neuroreceptors.
Significantly, this process also happens when a person recalls to memory an event in which a stress originally occurred. This is a key factor in the NET treatment. Thus, the physiological status of the body is emotionally replicating a similar physiological state that was found in the original conditioning event by the process of remembering.
Here’s a classic example of how a physiological response can be associated with a memory: Visualize a lemon . . . go ahead . . . try it. Now, think about cutting into that lemon — smell the lemony scent and see the juice running down the sides of the lemon. Now, squeeze some of the lemon’s juice into your mouth and take a big bite of the lemon. Is your mouth watering? If you’re like most people, it is, and what you’re experiencing is a physiological response to the memory of a lemon. The body’s response to stress works in a similar way.
Total Body Modification (TBM)
We are continuously faced with ever-increasing health challenges resulting from the dangerous pollution of our environment. If we cannot change our environment, we must learn to live within it by eliminating the effects on our health.
Using Kinesiology muscle testing and body access points TBM aims to eliminate the roadblocks to health and turn on the healing ability of the body. It is a simple process that deals with FUNCTIONAL PHYSIOLOGY rather than cadaver physiology to tap into the body’s bio-computer and read functional programs. We recognize that certain conditions produce predictable subluxation patterns in the spine.
Corrections are usually made by means of respiratory spinal correction of these patterns, or by soft tissue or joint manipulation. TBM may sometimes look like magic to the uninformed, because when the right thing is done to the right body, at the right time, miracles happen!
TBM works in synergy with Applied Kinesiology.
Retained Neonatal Reflexes
In the womb and in early life, when the decision making process has not fully developed, your brainstem has several reflexes called ‘primitive’ or ‘neonatal’ reflexes. They help you to grow properly and safely.
For example, they help you in the birthing process, breast feeding and gripping onto things. As you mature these reflexes are no longer needed so they take a ‘back seat’ and the higher brain takes control.
